Nuclear Medicine Radiology Technologist
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to become a vital part of our radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive medications used for imaging and therapeutic purposes, all while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients using injection, inhalation, or oral methods.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies to capture diagnostic images showcasing the distribution of radioactive materials within the body.
- Monitor patients during procedures to identify and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks for patients, colleagues, and yourself.
- Work closely with physicians to interpret imaging results and support accurate diagnoses and treatment strategies.
- Keep thorough records of all procedures conducted and ensure compliance with the safe disposal of radioactive materials.
