New Model Engineer

Design, Equipment, And Manufacturing Feasibility And Simulation

This position is focused on design, equipment, and manufacturing feasibility and simulation. Support analyzing drawings from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured within the factory's capabilities while working with MMCs to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development. Complete all required tasks and targets given by the Group Lead and project leadership.

Support feasibilities studies and detailed confirmations of new technologies, design concepts and manufacturing processes. Report back internally.

Identify past model problem history, apply / suggest countermeasure activity based on best practice.

Collaborate internally to develop most efficient manufacturing process.

Ensure a robust design for mass production combining manufacturing requirements (checklist), factory characteristics and project targets. Check 3D data to assure development.

Through the New Model development, help create and maintain all documents necessary for process, quality, robot/equipment, and training.

Support physical verification of the vehicle during initial production at the factory. Understand the factory capability and constraints.

Support collaborative problem solving activity with team members from your group and other BUs including DEB.

Develop capability of self through training and sharing of experiences to senior members. Learn other areas of the factory.

Experience Level: Entry Level.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
