Network Engineer

Insight Global is looking for several Network Engineers for one of our largest telecom customers in Middletown, NJ. This resource will be joining the Technology & Network organization to support high level enterprise wide initiatives. You will support the design, development, and testing of Ethernet/IP technologies and networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, SSH, VLAN, STP, and CFM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IP test equipment such as Spirent and a strong background in developing and specifying software tools for automated test execution and data collection. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for network performance, reliability, and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Experience designing, developing, and testing of Ethernet/IP technologies services, and networking protocols such as (BGP, OSPF, SSH, VLAN, STP, CFM)
- Hands on experience with IP/network testing
- Experience in the development, specification of software programs and tools used for automated test execution and data collection
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Spirent
