Job Description

The National Account Senior Executive Chef is responsible for directly supervising kitchen personnel and coordinating culinary activities. This role may involve cooking selected items, no more than 20% of the time. It includes supervision of hiring, mentoring, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. It may also coordinate special catering events and offer culinary instruction or demonstrations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Job Responsibilities

• Train and lead kitchen personnel.
• Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food.
• Select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
• Establish presentation techniques and quality standards.
• Plan and price menus.
• Ensure accurate equipment operation/maintenance.
• Ensure accurate safety and sanitation in kitchen.
• May cook selected items, no more than 20% of the time.
• Coordinate special catering events and may offer culinary instruction or demonstrate techniques.
• Directly supervise kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, mentoring, performance reviews and initiating pay increases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry and culinary management experience.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service is essential.
• Preferred experience in control of food & labor costs, demonstration cooking, menu development and pricing; development of culinary team.
• P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
