Multi-Line Property Damage Adjuster - Southeast (Memphis, TN; Baton Rouge, LA; Shreveport, LA; New Orleans, LA; Biloxi, MS; Jackson, MS; Little Rock, AR)

Join GEICO as a Multi-line Property Damage Adjuster. You will inspect damage, estimate costs of repairs, negotiate settlements, issue payments, and provide excellent customer service. This role primarily services boat, motorcycle, RV, and other specialty claims. The work may occur in repair shops, salvage yards, a customer's home, or a virtual estimating environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damage and estimate cost of repairs
• Negotiate settlements and issue payments
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Perform in person and virtual inspections as required
• Handle servicing for boat, motorcycle, RV and other specialty claims
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Document files in clear, concise, professional written manner
• Communicate effectively by phone, email, text, or in person
• Adapt to heavy claim volumes and stressful situations
• Learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a driver's license, certifications, and permits per state and federal regulations and company standards
• Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment, and navigate stairs
• Must be able to climb on/off/in/around RVs, motorcycles, boats and other equipment
• Must communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, and others
• Must be able to document files clearly and professionally
• Must speak with internal and external customers in a way that promotes customer satisfaction
• Must be able to communicate empathetically by telephone or in person
• Must handle heavy claim volume and stressful situations
• Must learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Working Conditions

• Must utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, with varying weather and lighting conditions
• The duties are performed both in the field and virtually with in person and virtual inspections

Equipment and Vehicles

• Must have a valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to drive the assigned vehicle for extended periods
• Must be able to use laptops, Microsoft Office, web-based applications, cameras, hands-free devices, and calculators
• Must perform duties in a vehicle used as a mobile workstation
