Description
Duties include conducting collaborative research on novel machine learning approaches and robotics platforms. Responsibilities involve leveraging foundation models to develop new learning-based control policies. Key areas of interest include vision-language-action models (VLAs), imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and synthetic data. The role also involves informing data collection efforts, contributing to training and testing infrastructure, and staying updated on relevant literature.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with generative models such as LLMs, VLMs, VLAs, diffusion models, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with learning-based robot control policies
- Experience with robot manipulation
- Proven track record of researching, inventing, or deploying advanced machine learning models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $181,100 to $318,400, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
