Join a leading Medical Device Component Sub-Contract Manufacturer at the forefront of advanced machining technologies. Specializing in Design For Manufacturability and Development services for the Medical Device industry, we seek a skilled Mill Machinist to contribute to our innovative team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up Mill machines, including Kitamura, for complex parts with tight tolerances.
• Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Oversee the selection and installation of tools, fixtures, and cutting strategies to optimize the machining process.
• Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Make edits in MasterCam and GibbsCam programming software.
• Develop and refine CNC setup procedures to improve efficiency, reduce setup times, and increase overall machine uptime.
• Maintain quality standards through in-process inspection of parts and monitoring of processes.
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of CNC setup experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Fluency in G & M code and the ability to edit programs.
• High level of blueprint reading required.
• Experience with Haas, Milling, Vertical mill, and Horizontal mill.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mathematics experience with shop math.
• Proficiency with measuring tools.
• Experience with numerical control.
• CNC machining experience.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93000.00/yr.
