Mid-Level Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A leading U.S.-based law firm is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Associate to join its Litigation group. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases, with a particular emphasis on Daubert and Rule 702 motions. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional legal writing skills and a background in high-stakes product liability litigation.

Location:

Duties:

Review and draft legal documents including briefs, motions, memoranda, and discovery responses

Participate in the development and execution of case strategies

Conduct and assist with depositions and fact investigations

Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and expert witnesses

Supervise and mentor junior associates

Communicate effectively with clients and co-counsel

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 firm

Demonstrated experience with Rule 702 and Daubert motions

Proven background in products liability litigation

Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or medical device matters is preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Strong academic performance, preferably from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state of the applied-for office

Admission to the New York Bar strongly preferred
