This Med Tele, Clinical Supervisor,  Registered Nurse opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. This position performs a dual function, clinical and managerial. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, performs disciplinary actions, and participates in hiring and termination of staff. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities and needs.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Director, co-workers and physicians.
• Assists director/manager with staff education and competency evaluation. Maintains documentation of these activities. Ensures staff participation in in- service programs.

Requirements:

• Current NV State Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one-year of employment or transfer into supervisy role.
• A minimum of 3-years recent clinical nursing experience preferred. 
• Must have experience under Telemetry
• Cerner experience preferred
• Current BLS required.
• Current ACLS required (or must be able to obtain within 6-months).
• PALS certification may be required for specific departments . (or must be able to obtain within six-months).
• Specialty certification preferred
