Full-Time Medical Receptionist

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time, Medical Receptionist at Jersey Shore Gastroenterology of Somers Point, NJ.

The Medical Receptionist Responsibilities are:

• Provides assistance, services and care to patients by scheduling appointments, greeting, resolving problems and handling payment and insurance information for patients by phone or in person.
• This position provides clerical and data entry support to the Care Center and may schedule outpatient procedures.
• Requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
• Handle heavy volume of phone calls.

The Medical Receptionist must have the following qualifications and experience:

• High School Diploma
• Medical office experience a plus, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
• Experience with insurance verification and billing processes.
• Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population.
