Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Integration team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX (hybrid)
Pay Range: $35 to $40 per hour (depending upon experience)
Duration: 12 month contact (possible conversation)
What's the Job?

• Develop engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP management software.
• Identify and quote manufacturing methods and new materials with suppliers.
• Monitor ordering and receipt of materials, coordinating shipping of engineering parts.
• Manage trade compliance activities and coordinate engineering and production builds.
• Draft manufacturing work instructions and develop protocols with manufacturing facilities.

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years Experience in regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to San Antonio office or international manufacturing facilities.
