We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time, Medical Assistant at Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey in Englewood/Englewood Cliffs, NJ .

The Medical Assistant Responsibilities are:

Cover front desk and provide assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms.
Obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
The Medical Assistant requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.

The Medical Assistant must have the following qualifications and experience:

High School graduate or GED required
1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
EMR experience - Athena, ECW, Epic preferred
Certified graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred
Certification in E-prescribing preferred
