Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to support patient care in our Internal Medicine Clinic. In this essential role, you will collaborate with our healthcare team to provide care and management for adult and elderly patients dealing with chronic and complex conditions. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays, promoting a great work-life balance.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary range: $15.00 - $22.50
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Full-time role with 40 hours per week
• Experience credit applicable to wage range

Your Responsibilities:

• Collect subjective and objective health data, communicating findings to healthcare providers.
• Assist in implementing patient care plans under the direction of providers.
• Communicate care instructions and follow up with patients and caregivers.
• Participate in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for examinations, including point of care testing.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Preferred prior experience in a healthcare setting.
• National certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, CMAC, NCMA, or RMA) required.
• North Dakota registration as an MAIII is required within four months of hiring if not already held.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
