Job Title: Medical Assistant – Cardiology

Pay: $21–$23 per hour

Location: Burbank, CA

Job Type: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists with patient examinations, EKGs, and cardiac procedures

• Perform blood draws and other specimen collections with precision and care

• Accurately record patient information, vital signs, and medical histories

• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as directed by the physician

• Educate and support patients regarding cardiology treatments and procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully equipped clinical environment

• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and perform administrative tasks

• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

• MA Diploma/MA Cert/ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

• Previous experience in a cardiology setting is preferred

• Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG administration

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• CPR and First Aid certification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
