Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for aMechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer.
Position Type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Berkeley, MO
As a Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer, you will:

• Participate in the design and development of mechanical systems and structures for flight simulators.
• Support machinist with fabrication and assembly of flight simulators.
• Interfaces with suppliers and buyers to support the purchase of mechanical fabrication services.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active Secret Clearance prior to the start.
• Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD system.
• Experience designing flight simulators and aircraft cockpit structures.
• Experience designing parts for 3D printing.
• Experience designing parts for CNC machining.
• Experience designing waterjet parts.
• Experience designing packaging for electrical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in general fabrication, precision machining and complex assembly techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience designing flight simulation or trainer equipment.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience using the NX CAD system.
• Master of Science in mechanical engineering.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $40 to $45 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
