Mechanical Engineer Opportunity In Rome, GA

Selectek is working with a small but growing firm in Rome, GA, that is launching a new Engineering Division and seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to be part of a new initiative, contribute to a collaborative environment, and grow with the firm. They are open to candidates at various experience levels, with a strong preference for those who hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license, though not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of commercial and institutional projects
• Collaborate directly with principal architects, engineers, and internal teams
• Develop construction documents using Revit
• Work on a diverse portfolio including pediatric clinics, veterinary hospitals, multifamily housing, and government projects
• Ensure projects are designed in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Participate in cross-discipline coordination and client meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in HVAC and plumbing systems
• Proficiency in Revit drafting software
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience in medical, veterinary, multifamily, government, commercial, or restaurant sectors

Pay Rate:

$85,000 - $100,000
