Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production and product development environment, focusing on consumer products or appliances.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD modeling, with a preference for SolidWorks.
• Participate in new product development and ensure designs meet production requirements.
• Validate and verify components and assemblies using blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance.
• Lead projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
• Utilize engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, and Risk Analysis to enhance product development processes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling and drawing creation.
• Experience with high-volume manufactured parts and component pieces.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for validation and quality assurance.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with castings, machined metal parts, and injection molded components is preferred.
• Familiarity with product improvement processes and statistical analysis

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
