Mechanical Boat Assembler

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the marine industry, is seeking a Boat Assembler to join their team. As a Boat Assembler, you will be part of the assembly department supporting the production of high-quality fiberglass boats. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to critically evaluate tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Boat Assembler

Location: Edgewater, FL

Pay Range: $18 - $20 DOE

Shift: 5am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) - Possible work on Fridays when business requires

What's the Job?

• Install fiberglass hulls, decks, and parts in accordance with company quality and safety standards.

• Determine part placement visually and/or by utilizing detailed blueprints and work standards.

• Handle and apply sealants, adhesives, and primers while ensuring safe disposal according to company procedures.

• Use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools effectively.

• Provide verbal and/or written status updates on work performed and maintain tools and equipment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Solid working knowledge of fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) is required.

• Skilled at using an overhead hoist and assembling electrical components.

• Adept at reading and understanding blueprints.

• Experience in a fiberglass boat manufacturing environment is preferred.
