Our client, a leader in manufacturing roofing and building materials, is seeking a Manufacturing Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Purchasing Coordinator, you will be part of the procurement department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Maxville, FL

What's the Job?

• Analyze market conditions to assess material availability and identify cost-effective procurement strategies
• Locate and evaluate vendors for materials, equipment, and supplies
• Negotiate and communicate with suppliers to secure favorable terms
• Implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures
• Oversee disposal of surplus materials and maintain accurate procurement records

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP systems; JD Edwards preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
