Overview:
- Responsible for the expansion and growth of the existing portfolio of technology companies and individuals.
- Provide advice, counsel, and training to CNB bankers on technology related opportunities, strategies, and transactions in the Commercial and Core Banking Services, PCS/Wealth Management, Treasury Management, Corporate Banking, and Entertainment areas.
- Act as the Technology expert who effectively represents the bank to potential new clients and those who can refer new clients.
- Develop business with select technology and technology related businesses and individuals, managing and growing these relationships.
- Create and maintain a high profile for CNB in the venture capital and technology communities resulting in a robust referral network into established businesses and individuals.
- In conjunction with the Tech Council executives, line and support representatives and Marketing & Product Strategies develop a marketing plan to raise awareness and market to target technology and technology-related companies and high net worth individuals.
- Continually assess the product needs of clients and prospects as well as the service capabilities of CNB to ensure that a competitive advantage is maintained with targeted tech companies and individuals.
- Actively participate in the Technology community, including leadership roles in associations, conferences and technology forums.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years commercial banking experience focused in theTechnology industry
- Minimum 5 year credit experience
- Ten years of progressively increasing Commercial and Industrial loan underwriting experience
- Five years of management experience in underwriting or credit management
- Five years structuring credit and managing large complex credit transactions for companies with greater than $20 million in revenue
- Five years of credit staff management or supervisory experience
Skills and Knowledge
- BA or MBA (preferred)
- Solid understanding of and broad exposure to the Technology market.
- Solid grasp of Technology industry from well established businesses to start-up and leading edge technologies.
- Excellent credit and analytical skills necessary to understand Technology businesses and financial needs.
- Ability to relate to and communicate with Technology experts, understanding their businesses and banking/financial needs.
- Ability to inspire confidence by understanding and articulating the specialized needs of business and individuals in the Technology sector.
- Proven ability to develop strong business partnerships with clients and prospects.
- Proven ability to develop strong partnerships to achieve organizational goals.
- Very sound business judgment
