Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, No Call, No Weekend Rotation
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

SUMMARY:
Join our dedicated team as a Mammography Technologist, where your exceptional customer service and communication skills will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic images. You will also ensure optimal comfort and safety for our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mammography: Execute and assist with diagnostic, screening, ultrasound, and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) tasks under supervision; continuously monitor image quality to meet all standards.
• Maintenance: Regularly check equipment functionality; maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and patient charts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology in Applied Science or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR a NYS permit with the condition to obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently. Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
