Radiology Tech Job Details

Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (New York radiology jobs)
Healthcare Setting: 400-bed hospital
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (December 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
Charting System: EPIC
Radiology Equipment: GE
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1920–$2060

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Current BLS certification
Active NYSDOH License and ARRT certification
Ability to participate in weekend rotations (every 4th weekend)
Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
Completion of de-escalation training (Welle, CPI, PMC S, or NAPPI)
Experience with EPIC charting preferred
Local healthcare professionals (within 50 miles) are encouraged to apply

Radiology Tech Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures per physician orders and established clinical protocols
Operate GE radiology equipment safely and efficiently
Accurately document patient care and procedures using EPIC
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Participate in weekend rotations and respond to hospital needs as required
Apply de-escalation techniques as needed to ensure patient and staff safety
