This role will be the "go-to" person for all things related to maintenance - so we are looking for someone up to the challenge with strong skills and experience.

This position will work Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm but is subject to overtime, especially as we get our brand new facility up and running in the next few months. Hours are anticipated to normalize over time.

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring all equipment in the entire manufacturing facility is operating and in good condition. The Maintenance Specialist manages the responsibilities between machine maintenance and facility and/or ground maintenance. The Maintenance specialist will be responsible for scheduling and maintaining the preventive maintenance program. This individual will need to have excellent time managing skills to efficiently complete multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Assist with set-ups / equipment changeovers and calibration of packaging and process equipment;
• Dismantle machines or equipment, replace defective parts and motors;
• Monitor and adjust production equipment for quality and productivity;
• Troubleshoots any problems with equipment or machinery;
• Schedule and assists with maintenance schedule depending on machine use;
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders to perform required service maintenance, and electrical schematics
• Assists or orders parts in need;
• Inventories spare parts;
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines;
• Monitors equipment down time;
• Assist in scheduling and supervising third party vendors who perform maintenance services and repairs in the areas of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, carpentry, painting, roofing;
• Assist in performing general repair/maintenance to include, but not limited to:
• Electrical
• Building
• Plumbing
• Landscaping
• Basic remodeling
• Researches and proposes equipment upgrades;
• Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance;
• Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots;
• Participate in Monthly/Weekly training on equipment along side the Production Managers;

• 2-5+ years general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience within manufacturing/production plant
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Great sense of urgency
• Ability to work with various departments to resolve issues
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly and efficiently
• Efficient time management skills
