We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Tech to join our Wellington, KS shot peening facility! As our Maintenance Repair Tech, you will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure machines are running at optimal performance. This is a great role for an individual with some maintenance and fabrication (welding) experience who wishes to expand their knowledge, particularly in preventative maintenance.

Location: Wellington, KS

Shift: Monday-Friday first shift

Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hour

Your Challenge:

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Repair pumps, large conveying augers, dust collectors, blast rooms

• May operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: What You Bring: Experience constructing and/or repairing industrial machines Experience aligning machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs. Experience repairing and lubricating machinery and equipment. Basic Electrical knowledge and machine trouble shooting skills. Welding experience. 2 + years of maintenance experience
