Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services to ensure optimal operation and safety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary adjustments to equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation and longevity of equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance services as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, blueprints, and schematics for effective maintenance and repairs.
• Handle facility management tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the production area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with blueprint and schematic interpretation.
• Capability to use hand tools effectively.
• Experience in industrial settings for maintenance tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in facility management, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to work independently in a production environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairfield, Connecticut.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $57000.00/yr. Full benefits, bonus, and OT available. Opportunity to grow. Company is big on culture and taking care of their employees.

This is a fully onsite position in Fairfield,CT.
