Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Vernon, CA

Pay Range: $35.00-$40.00/hr (DOE)

Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00PM - 6:30AM

What's the Job?

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment to support production needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for compliance and review.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
