Machinist

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will work with CNC Mills and be trained to operate multiple machines on-site. Initially, the position will start on the day shift, eventually transitioning to the 2nd shift within a month or two. You will learn to perform setups, offsets, tool changes, and work with blueprints, handling a mix of medium-sized production runs and short batch work with multiple setups daily.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of production runs, ranging from medium-sized to short batch work.
• Adapt to multiple machine setups daily.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC operation, including mills and lathes.
• Proficiency in machine operation and CNC setup.
• Familiarity with machining processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous machining experience is required.

Workplace Environment

Work in a smaller machine shop equipped with modern equipment. Handle medium-sized parts with production runs ranging from 5 to 500 pieces. The 2nd shift hours are yet to be determined and could be from 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday, or a four-day schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
