Machine Operator -Quality & Inspection Dept

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator for the Quality & Inspection Department to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Quality & Inspection Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Carroll, IA

Pay Range: $19.50

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10pm

What's the Job?

• Conduct inspections of products, parts, assemblies, raw materials, and tooling instruments to ensure compliance with design data requirements.
• Use measuring and inspection instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers with proper techniques.
• Perform receiving, in-process, final inspection, and 1st article approval of hardware and components.
• Operate computer systems to document inspection results and verify accuracy of work order documentation.
• Complete visual and physical inspections, including unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects, rattles, and loose hardware.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a US Person.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality policies.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and methods.
• Willingness to work extended shifts and overtime as required.
