PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: 95% Adults, 5% Pediatrics
• Patient Volume/Census: 5070 exams per shift
• Phone Consults: Yes (critical results must be reported to clinicians)
• Case Mix: ER, Inpatient, Outpatient; CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound; Oncology studies included

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Trauma Level: Level 3 (Community Hospital, low-level trauma)
• EMR System: Philips Enterprise 4.7 PACS, Workflow Orchestrator, Fluency dictation system
• Office Equipment Available: Workstation provided by UPMC shipped to provider's home
• Specialty Backup Available: 3 Radiologists available for consult
• Support Staff Available: Clerical, Technologists, Administrative staff
• Reason for Coverage: Vacation coverage, supplemental tele-radiology support

• Temporary Privileges Available: Emergency privileges available
• Credentialing Timeline: 30 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Travel: None (tele-radiology only)

• Equipment: Workstation shipped to provider REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• CT interpretation (inpatient, outpatient, ER; 5055 exams/shift)
• MRI interpretation (outpatient only; optional)
• General radiology (X-Ray/Plain Films)
• Ultrasound interpretation
• Oncology studies (approx. 5/day)
• STAT ED case reads (all ED studies considered STAT)
• Remote reading only no procedures required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Board: Board Certified in Radiology
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: None specified
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in General Radiology
• Other Qualifications: Prior tele-radiology experience preferred; proficiency with PACS/Fluency

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret a high volume of CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Ultrasound studies daily
• Provide STAT reads for all ED cases and report critical results promptly to clinicians
• Collaborate with on-site radiologists and clerical staff for case discussions and alerts
• Utilize Philips PACS, Workflow Orchestrator, and Fluency dictation system
• Maintain accurate and timely radiology reporting in compliance with hospital standards
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered radiology services in a remote tele-radiology setting
