WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at a Prestigious Surgery Center in Watchung, New Jersey.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
6am - 3pm
Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.
Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.
Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.
Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

Job Requirements:

Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.
Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
BLS preferred (American Heart Association).
2 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.
