WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Surgery Center in Englewood, NJ.  

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 6:30am - 3pm.

• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Prepare patients for surgery as requested.

• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before and after operations, documenting according to policy.

• Provide technical support to surgeons, operating room nurses, and anesthesiologists as needed.

• Clean and sterilize surgical equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

• Operate, adjust, and maintain surgical equipment to ensure proper functionality. Monitor inventory levels and order surgical supplies as necessary.

Job Requirements:  

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.    
• Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS preferred (American Heart Association).     
• 2 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.
