We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to provide leadership coverage during a 3-month leave of absence at our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dover, DE. This is a full-time, temporary position. The DON will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring continuity of high-quality patient care, staff support, and regulatory compliance.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

• Provide daily leadership and supervision to nursing and clinical staff

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, etc.) Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance oversight for clinical team members

• Oversee patient safety, quality assurance, and infection control initiatives

• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to ensure seamless operations

• Maintain established policies, procedures, and workflows to support best practices

Job Requirements:

• Current Delaware RN license (or compact state eligibility).

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.

• 1 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in an ASC, perioperative, or acute care setting.

• Strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards for ambulatory surgery centers.
