Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and consistency. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked and plated properly with attention to portion control and presentation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following health and safety guidelines
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food storage and handling
- Assist in prep work, inventory management, and restocking as needed
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
- Adapt to a variety of kitchen roles as needed to support the team
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating great food
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
