Basic Function

Professional cleaning of homes to the clients liking, using Merry Maids unique procedures and products.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Use Merry Maids products and procedures to clean, shake, and vacuum all rooms from top to bottom.
2. Use Merry Maids procedures and products to clean, disinfect, and deodorize all accessories, watering cans, tubs, bathrooms, sinks, mirrors, and toiletries.
3. Use Merry Maids procedures and products to clean kitchen appliances, cabinets, tables, and chairs.
4. Vacuum stairs and wash all floor surfaces, on your hands and knees, using Merry Maids products and procedures.
5. Move all furniture that can reasonably be moved in the rooms to be able to "clean thoroughly" underneath and behind them.
6. Load products and equipment to and from the office, into the car, and into the clients homes.
7. Assist the Team Captain to fill the cases and do the required equipment maintenance at the end of the workday.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Assist in keeping the office clean and fresh.
2. Contribute, at all times, to the positive work environment and the team effort of the company.
3. Assist the Team Captain in providing information to complete the service report.
4. Must execute other reasonable work activities that are assigned or requested.

Essential Requirements

(include the minimum education, experience, specific skills, etc. required to perform the principal responsibilities)

1. Ability to differentiate between various cleaning products by color, identifying the products color or name.
2. Ability to read cleaning instructions indicated in a cleaning report adapted to the clients needs.
3. Ability to communicate with the Team Captain to ensure client expectations are met.

Special Requirements

(include physical and environmental conditions, equipment, and machinery)

1. Ability to drive to different locations throughout the workday.
2. Ability to withstand physical contact with dog hair, cat hair, dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
3. Ability to lift loads of 20 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel, push, pull, and carry.
4. Ability to wash all hard floor surfaces on your knees.

Pay: $13.50 an hour for probation period (90 days) then 35% of the clean or $15.00 an hour, it will be discussed at the interview so it's understood.

Compensation: $400.00 - $600.00 per week
