Role Maintenance General Location Archbald, PA Duration 12+months (Possible Extension) Shift 1st shift (Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm EST) Pay Range $20- $24.71 per hour on W2
Job Description

Follows prescribed manufacturers' schedule for lubricating plant machinery and equipment such as shafts, sprockets, drive chains, gears and pulleys, etc. using prescribed oils and greases in the proper amounts using oilcans, grease guns or by hand.
Fills and recharges sumps or reservoirs for lubricating and/or cooling systems.
Keeps a written record of machines lubricated.
Cleans fittings and/or surfaces before applying lubricant, removes excess lubricant from fittings and cleans up spills.
Advises supervisor of leaking fittings, bearings, seals, etc., also on potential hazards.
Assists Machine Maintenance with periodic maintenance of equipment.
Uses a refractometer to set up coolant stations and machines for the correct coolant concentrations.
Maintains supplies of coolant, lubricants and spill control materials.
Machine chip collection and disposal.
Maintains fluid levels in all fork trucks and material moving equipment.
Operate forklift, scissor lift or other support equipment as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (no degree required)
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification (will need to pass LM certification)
Candidate selected for role will be driving a forklift
1-2 years previous experience in the lubrication/maintenance of machine shop equipment
Able to work safely with cleaning chemicals and solvents
Previous exposure to Machine shop
