Overview Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy, from segmentation and campaign development to performance measurement and optimization. The ideal candidate blends creativity with analytical rigor, leveraging customer insights to deliver impactful campaigns that strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and loyalty through personalized, data-driven communications across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the lifecycle marketing strategy across channels including email, SMS, push, and in-app content, ensuring consistent brand experience and measurable impact
- Lead campaign planning, calendar management, and deployment in alignment with broader digital and brand initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams (eCom, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Loyalty, Retail Ops) to ensure campaigns are integrated, personalized, and relevant
- Own customer segmentation and personalization strategies, using data to identify key cohorts and deliver targeted content
- Establish and manage A/B testing roadmaps to continuously optimize engagement, retention, and conversion
- Oversee reporting and analysis of lifecycle campaigns, communicating performance trends, insights, and recommendations to leadership
- Ensure QA processes and best practices are followed across all outbound communications for accuracy and functionality
- Stay current on lifecycle marketing trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 36 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or digital marketing with a proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms, push and SMS tools, and CMS or app content systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in customer segmentation, personalization, and testing methodologies
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and campaign improvements
- Familiarity with GA4, customer data platforms (CDPs), and marketing automation tools strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HTML for email preferred
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members a plus
