Department Details

We are looking for a reliable individual to join our Internal Medicine Clinic, which offers primary care for patients with chronic diseases, group wellness visits, home-based primary care, and outreach care. Your flexibility and team-oriented approach will be essential as you collaborate closely with our nursing and provider teams.

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM based on the provider's schedule, where you will work directly with a new provider.

As a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide high-quality, holistic care and support throughout patients' healthcare journeys. Our ambulatory LPNs work under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, or Physicians, enjoying the autonomy to be the primary nurse for a provider within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document comprehensive medical histories from patients.
• Assist in patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

LPN:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
• If required, have completed board-approved IV therapy coursework.

MA:

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program with prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• Must be registered as MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing within four months if not previously registered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
