Department Overview

Be part of our small, family-oriented team as a full-time LPN, where you will have the opportunity to work primarily with one provider, room pediatric patients, administer medications as ordered, and help maintain clinic supplies.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide quality care throughout patients' healthcare journeys, ensuring they feel heard and valued. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, you will:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document thorough medical histories
• Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications/treatments as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans

Qualifications:

LPN:

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board
• If required for IV therapy, complete applicable training as per North Dakota regulations

MA:

• Graduate from a recognized Medical Assistant program with preferred experience in a healthcare setting
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, CMAC, NCMA, or RMA) is mandatory
• Must obtain ND registration as an MAIII within four months if not already certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of employment
