As part of our Southpointe Family Medicine Walk In Clinic team, you will be working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or major holidays required. Our Family Medicine department values teamwork and a commitment to providing quality patient care to the Fargo Moorhead community. Be a part of our fast-paced and supportive environment!

Typical Duties for LPN:

• Nurse visits
• Vaccines
• Blood pressure checks
• Suture and staple removal
• Weight checks
• Medication refills
• Communication with pharmacy

Typical Duties for CMA:

• Rooming patients
• Administering vaccines
• Taking vital signs

To excel in this role, you need to possess either a Licensed Practical Nurse diploma or National Medical Assistant Certification and be registered as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing.

As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, or Physicians and play a key role as the primary nurse for your assigned provider within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document thorough medical histories from patients
• Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications/treatments as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and their families on prevention and treatment plans, under RN direction

Qualifications:

To qualify, candidates must have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program and currently hold an unencumbered LPN license, with multi-state licensure privileges if applicable. Candidates should maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
