Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care and assist in assessing resident needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments upon admission and throughout residents' stays.
• Communicating significant changes in resident conditions to the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
• Accurate documentation of assessments and interventions.
• Participating in the care planning process and updating care plans as necessary.
• Implementing nursing interventions, including medication administration and treatments, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Maintaining composure in crisis situations and addressing issues proactively.
• Monitoring residents closely to identify behavioral changes or signs of distress.
• Assisting with residents' activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Completing a minimum of twelve hours of continuing education related to nursing annually.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school leading to an LPN license.
• Current LPN license in your working state.
• CPR and AED certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• IV certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Preferred experience in long-term care.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist in lifting and transferring residents safely.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for working with patients and equipment.

The pay range for this position is $26.96 - $43.25 per hour. We look forward to your application!
