Join our advanced care team at the Sanford Endocrinology Clinic, consisting of a compassionate nursing staff and expert endocrinologists specialized in diagnosing, treating, and managing hormone imbalances and disorders. We focus on educating patients with diabetes on effective disease management, backed by recognition from the American Diabetes Association for our diabetes self-management education program.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, positive, and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will provide quality, holistic care to patients and ensure they feel heard and comforted. Our ambulatory LPNs work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, enjoying the autonomy of being the primary nurse for a provider within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document a thorough medical history from patients.
• Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and families about prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board. If position requires IV therapy skills, completion of an approved IV Therapy course is required in North Dakota.
