Licensed Outpatient Therapist - Hybrid or Onsite

CARE Counseling , part of the Optum family of businesses, is excited to invite Licensed Outpatient Therapists to join our dynamic teams. This is a full-time position (0.7 - 1.0 FTE) with the flexibility to work either onsite or in a hybrid arrangement. As a vital member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Deliver treatments for mental health conditions utilizing various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among other evidence-based methods.
• Systematically monitor treatment response and track changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in a Behavioral Science-related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.).
• An active, independent clinical license as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota: LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to work under one of the following models: onsite (all work at one location) or hybrid (minimum two days onsite with a distraction-free home office and high-speed internet access).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in outpatient mental health services.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation practices.
• Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments.
• Background in treatment planning and maintaining a case load.
• Familiarity with AthenaHealth/AthenaOne and/or Opus systems.
• Experience entering information into Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting reports, professional publications, and government regulations.
• Experience in presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.
• Understanding of the effects of mental illness and willingness to collaborate with diverse disciplines in treatment.

The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, based on full-time employment. Pay is influenced by various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
