Location: 1705 Anne St NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, USA

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Day Shifts

Salary Range: $37.00 - $46.50

Position Overview:

The Children's Behavioral Health Therapist plays a crucial role in understanding human behavior, counseling theories, and psychopathology. This position involves working independently to ensure patients' well-being, conducting diagnostic assessments, and providing crisis intervention. The Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans and apply tailored interventions while continually assessing and documenting patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled therapy sessions, addressing emotional, mental, and behavioral health needs.
• Provide community-based treatment interventions for patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
• Work in various settings, including clinics, community, and residential facilities, adjusting duties as required.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment interventions.
• Educate patient support members regarding treatment issues and interventions, as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of treatment sessions and progress updates for the team.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences is required.
• Current, good-standing license in the respective state of practice.
• Various licensure options based on state, including LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, and others depending on work setting.
• Non-licensed candidates must be in the process of obtaining appropriate licensure.
