Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lead Punch Press Operator to join their team. As a Lead Punch Press Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Punch Press Operator

Location: Graham, NC

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00

Shift: 1st shift- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Lead a team of employees to ensure efficient punch press operations.
• Schedule workflow and coordinate tasks within the department.
• Communicate effectively from management to team members to maintain high standards.
• Ensure quality control by using checklists and proper inspection techniques.
• Enforce safety and shop rules, promoting a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of set-up and operating experience, preferably with Trumpf or Amada equipment.
• Background in metal fabrication and familiarity with blueprint reading.
• Competence in dimensional measuring and shop math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to record data accurately.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
