Frontier Parkway Prosper, TX 75078 is seeking a passionate Lead PreK Teacher (4-5+ yrs) to join our fantastic team to help prepare our students for the next phase of their lives at the elementary level and become well-versed in Kindergarten Preparedness! PreK Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using our proprietary Wonder of Learning curriculum to engage and support each child's growth
• Classroom Management: Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Family Communication: Maintain open, effective and positive communication with families and guardians about their child's progress and daily activities
• Health and Safety: Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards, licensing regulations and ensure their well-being
• Professional Development: Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe, assess and document children's learning and development to inform activities and share insights with families
• Team Collaboration: Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Behavior Guidance: Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, lead and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field or
• Child Development Associate (CDA) or
• 2 years of previous experience preferred
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members, and maintains a professional attitude
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Meets background check eligibility

Compensation for PreK Lead Teacher will be determined on qualifications and experience and may range from $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
