Lead Medical Technologist Point of Care Services Full Time Day

Location: Navicent Health Medical Center (60901). Schedule: 40 hours per week; varies. Benefits Eligible: Yes.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures assuring rapid and accurate results.
• Is responsible for all technical aspects in the operation of morphology testing in Hematology services to include training and competency assessment of lab technical staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology leading to ASCP certification or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director.
• Experience: 4 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory.
• Certification/License/Registration: Registered MT (ASCP) or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director. Must qualify as a supervisor under state laboratory licensure regulations.

Pay

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
