Job Description:

The Electrical Engineering Lead reports to the Manager of Electrical Engineering. The group is responsible for design and integration for aircraft systems. Responsibilities include the design and liaison of using military and commercial design standards, customer specifications and system requirements documents using ECAD. Must be experienced in engineering drawing preparation and interpretation as well as provide leadership review of designs/drawings. The group is primarily responsible for the design and liaison activities related to the aircraft electrical wiring interconnect systems (EWIS), including those associated with electrical racks and external antennas.

The role is responsible for detailed Electrical Design for aircraft systems integration. The role is also responsible for ensuring compliance to company processes relating to designs and those processes are periodically reviewed for improvement or currency.

  Design and liaison of aircraft systems utilizing military and commercial design standards, customer specifications and system requirements documents utilizing CAD.

  Provide liaison to production and manufacturing for interpretation of engineering design/drawings.

Qualifications:

• n

  Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  Must have experience with and electrical datadriven ECAD software.

  n

• n

  Must have knowledge of electrical design principles of aircraft systems.

• n

  Must have experience with electronic equipment and antenna installations.

  n

• n

  Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

  n

• n

  Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

• n

  Must be able to travel as required.

  Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to coach, train, motivate and lead technical personnel.
