Travel or Local Laboratory Scientist - Philadelphia, PA
13-Week Contract | Evenings | Up to $3,450/Week
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking a Travel or Local Laboratory Scientist for a prestigious partner facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . Position Details:

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
No weekends or holidays required
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,450 , depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Perform complex testing in the Blood Bank including solid-phase and manual methods
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Verify, record, and analyze test results with accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the accuracy and urgency of results
Adhere to quality assurance and safety protocols
Use Cerner Millennium for documentation and reporting (experience preferred)

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
MLS certification eligible through ASCP (MLS or BB BOC)
Previous experience in large Blood Bank settings strongly preferred
Familiarity with Cerner Millennium and solid phase testing preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during evening shifts
