Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Sample Receiving & Inspection
• Receive water samples, inspect for integrity, and verify documentation accuracy.
• Sample Organization
• Sort and organize samples into analytical batches for processing.
• Data Entry
• Log sample details accurately into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Sample Preparation
• Perform standardized preparation techniques in accordance with SOPs.
• Waste Disposal & Lab Maintenance
• Dispose of samples and chemical waste properly, and maintain a clean, organized lab environment using 5S principles.

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily within the required timeframes.
• The requirements listed represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed in this role.
