LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in Edison, NJ, seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior/Staff Accountant to join their onsite finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, production-driven environment.

Job Title: Junior/Staff Accountant

Location: Edison, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Salary: $60,000 $65,000 annually

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, general ledger updates, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow activity
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance
• Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to ensure financial accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 12 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or part-time roles welcome)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
